Why Attend?
The joints of the peripheral limbs are common sites of injury and dysfunction yet so often forgotten about in manipulative spheres. The upper and lower extremity are crucial areas of the body responsible for running, jumping, throwing, catching, gripping, squeezing, lifting and a huge variety of basic day to day movements. This course will cover anatomy, innervation, neurological testing, orthopaedic testing, MSK and non MSK conditions. We’ll cover diagnostic assessment of peripheral joint dysfunction and discuss and how that applies to treatment. Practical techniques taught include MET’s, mobilisations and a variety of manipulations. All topics will be covered in detail and extensive notes will be given to ensure safe practice. By the end of the course, you should be able to assess, diagnose, and treat conditions of the upper and lower extremity, addressing common issues involving restriction and dysfunction of all peripheral joints.
